2020 Jamsheed 'Wandin' Sauvignon Blanc. Yarra Valley-VIC.
'Grown uncertified organic by us with lots of love in Wandin East, this upper Yarra Valley vineyard produces some of our favourite fruits. The Sauvignon was handpicked in late March by the hands of many hospitality friends who found themselves jobless over night thanks to you-know-what. The rare soil in this site, red clay loam over bluestone rocks, lends a taut flinty edge to a sleek textural palate. This was the only white wine we produced in 2020 and it is a beauty full of intense white flowers, juicy acidity and saline / mineral texture. As always bottled unfiltered and unfined.'
