Daniel’s orange wine is a natural wine epic poem and love hymn to the wonders of skin contact. As deep, brooding and carnal as his reds are light-footed, it’s born from Viognier grapes naturally grown in the Ardeche. Grapes are sourced from Vincent Fargier of Les Deux Terres, half of the mass sees maceration of about one month while the rest is direct-pressed. After elevage in old barrels, the wine is bottled with no additions such as fining, filtration or added SO2. Lightly braised persimmon with burnt demerara sugar, candied ginger, turmeric and ripe apricots.
