2021 Domaine de la Touraize 'les Moulins' Chardonnay/Savagnin - Arbois, Jura, FRANCE. 750ml
Roughly 2/3 Chardonnay and 1/3 Savagnin, from the Petit Curoulet lieu-dit. The soils here are gravel on marl, and the site sits at 350M above sea level, with south-east exposure. The vines are aged between 20-60 years old. The wines are aged in a mix of 500L barrels and 2000L foudre for 18 months and topped up regularly. Not fined or filtered. Minimal SO2 added before bottling. 12.5% alc.
Mouthfilling zesty flavour, good strong acid line. tasty.
