Red cherry, raspberry, tobacco and dried herbs, almond and flowers. Medium-bodied, fresh with a plenty of crunch to acidity and a pleasingly rustic, yet mineral, grip to tannin, the finish is savoury with tobacco and new leather, and pretty solid length. This is a lovely expressive wine, and seems to be fruit driven and energetic, which is pretty much how I like my Sangiovese. It could only be Italian. Yes. GW - Winefront.
