We are now finding the right person/people to fill:
Full Time Floor Supervisor - coordinate our floor staff and bring all things wine and cheese direct to the dine-in customer. With 20 wines by the glass (and more than 1000 by the bottle!), we have a substantial offering for our dine in customers to enjoy with matched cheese + charcuterie. Work directly with the Owner, Wine Director, and Deli/Operations manager.
Full time, Casual and Part Time Front of house - in our hybrid wine shop/bar model, we offer a relaxed atmosphere for shoppers to browse the shelves/deli fridge for some of the rarest finds. Dine in also available. Floor staff required to help direct customers to find their gems.
Casual Gun Dishy - We need extra pairs of hands to keep the cogs turning smoothly. We know how important this role is and it’s a great way to introduce yourself into the space and pick up a few days a week.
The Perks:
We provide frequent paid training days where we close the store and go get our hands dirty - cheese making courses, truffle hunting days, winemaking etc etc. It’s the best way to learn!
We close most public holidays so you can enjoy time with family and friends.
As a 7 day a week business, we can be flexible and work within your ideal hours.
No crazy hours, late nights or split shifts. Our busiest hours of service are between 2pm-7pm.
Owen Latta’s Eastern Peake/Latta Vino are the inspiration behind his wife Jen (owner) starting winespeake. We have direct access to see how it all works in the vineyard and in the cellar. A rare insight into Australian agriculture!
You get paid your worth! Yes, it does need to be spelled out. You get paid well for every minute you work, get meals/drinks on us, we always open interesting bottles to try. We are a supportive workplace that values you and your time.
