A red vermouth I have been working on for just over two years now. What a journey it has been! The original base is from the 2021 Vino da Pranzo. It was then blended with a little 2022 Nemo and Naive Melody rosés. A mixture of citrus and herbs were soaked in the wine as well as tintures of wormwood, wild oregano, lavender, lemon and orange rinds. Sweetened just enough for balance, freshened with a little '23 Blanc and finished by soaking on burnt grapefuit, for that extra kick.with some green olives really Drinks perfectly on it’s own with ice and a slice of orange. Or if you are seeking something a little more, a splash of Campari accentuates this vermouth.
