2021 Partida Creus 'VN' White - Spain. 750ml
The Italian couple, Massimo Marchiori and Antonella Gerona settled in the Catalan countryside making wine after many years of working as architects in Italy and Barcelona. Massimo grew up working on his grandfather's bodega and saw potential in the many abandoned vineyards of Massis de Bonastre. Many of the vines were low yielding, nearly extinct varieties, but the couple have made it their mission to resurrect the nearly extinct native varieties and make everyday wine.
This VN is named after an Italian style of wine, vinello, that takes the wine mast and makes a low alcohol, easy drinking table wine. While this is made with whole cluster, it is a low alcohol and friendly wine. A vibrant blend of Garnacha Blanco, Macabeu, Moscatell, Panse, Parellada, Vinyater, and Xarel-Lo. Cloudy and fresh, no sulfur added white.

Yellow fruits and energy abound moving into zest pulpy fruit. Full of flavour and citrus clarity. Taut, saline and refreshing.
