Producer notes;
This release is pure Eden Valley at its core wrapped in some Hoffmann Old Vines. This cuvee has an average vine age of over 70 years. All whole cluster fermentations from tiny yields picked at various ripening stages. It’s a structured, elegant wine of class & character that probably doesn't deserve to be jammed into a brown paper bag and called Dero!
The blend consists of the following sites.
Burley 'Hillside' ● Wilton Hill "The Old Gold Field Block" ● Wilton Hill "Old Musty" ● Vinegarden circa 1895 ● Hoffmann Wolf's Block. In the end blending this was a breeze. It’s simply our four best available barrels put together!
