2017 Gabin et Felix Richoux 'Les Cailles' Irancy Pinot Noir. Burgundy-FRANCE. 750ml.
Sitting at the northern edge of Burgundy just twenty minutes from Chablis is Irancy. Although unknown, with age these wines reward the adventurous drinker with wines that speak of the mineral soils and savoury tones rather than the bright fruits of more southerly Burgundies.
In particularly fine years, two single-vineyard crus are produced. Les Cailles is the slightly more generous of the two, being from a more clay heavy soil on a gentle slope.
