The Rogeries vineyard sits on silt and sand over volcanic rock, Rhyolite, and is known for giving complex powerful wines.
This is made from the oldest (80 years) vines in the Rogeries vineyard (volcanic soils) and this is something really quite special; made in anfora and seasoned demi-muid. This recalls the wines of Richard Leroy with it's subtle reduction next to aromas of grilled nuts, fresh butter, sweet, fresh and tense fruit; a brilliant wine. A Loire take on Corton Charlemagne
