2022 Thibault Ducroux 'En Roue Libre' Beaujolais-Villages, FRANCE. 750ml
Named for Thibault Ducroux’s passion for competitive cycling, ‘En Roue Libre’ translates to Freewheeling, or cycling in a neutral gear, and represents his methodology in creating his wines– hands off. The Gamay grapes in this Rouge are farmed organically by Ducroux and ferment spontaneously with whole cluster carbonic maceration before aging in concrete for eight months. It’s super fresh and light with tons of crunchy red fruit and just a hint of herbaceousness. Serve slightly chilled.
