10.5% Alc/Vol; 204.4 g/l RS; 9.4 g/l TA. 60% Chardonnay and 40% Welschriesling, the Chardonnay fermented and matured for 20 months in new French oak barriques, the Weslchriesling likewise but in one new 1000 litre oak cask.
‘Another utterly magnificent wine, 2010 #6 Grand Cuvée Trockenbeerenauslese Nouvelle Vague is flat-out great. Savory notes lead to honey, chamomile, apricot jam and earthiness in a wine that shows the explosive, exuberant style of the year. New French oak gives the #6, a Chardonnay/Welschriesling blend, its soft contours, and warm, resonant personality.
