The launch of winespeake cellar + deli

A WINE & CHEESE LOVERS DELIGHT!
With two established businesses in the heart of Daylesford, owner Jen Latta and her team are rebranding and relocating to bring the two businesses under the one banner.
Existing sites Dos Deli and Wine & The Country have become the go-to establishments for everything wine and cheese in Daylesford. Wine & The Country (est. May 2013) operated as a bar and wine shop, showcasing some of the most unique wines from our region and around the World. It quickly became a cult favourite amongst those in the food and wine industry, as well as a valuable constituent of locals and tourists alike with a keen interest in making more conscientious choices about the wines they were consuming.
Dos Deli was added three years ago to supplement the wine shop with a range of retail cheeses, charcuterie and delicatessen essentials. The two operated side by side.
But now, through the disaster that has been 2020, there is light at the end of the tunnel with Wine & The Country and Dos Deli rebranding under the new banner of 'winespeake cellar + deli' in an iconic location in the heart of Daylesford; 26 Vincent Street. With stunning floor to ceiling windows and great street frontage, this new, bigger location will mean winespeake can house everything the two previous businesses had perfected...and more.
The new name is a nod to Jen's husband's vineyard 'Eastern Peake' established by his family in 1983. This vineyard and the ethos of their farming and winemaking methods has been the inspiration behind seeking out other winemakers and producers from all over the World that the team can get behind and promote.
Whilst the country has been in lockdown, the entire winespeake team have been building wine & cheese product lists, working on a new and improved range, and locking in some of the rarest wine allocations in the World.
Such local producers as Cobaw Ridge, Dilworth & Allain, Attwoods Wines and Bindi will always have a place on the shelves. Such International sensations as Rinaldi, Lapierre, Cornelissen, and Overnoy have been procured and cellared away in preparation for the new opening. For many, these names will be unheard of, which is why masterclasses, meet the makers, tastings, and many more events, will be run so that visitors to winespeake can be as excited by the offering as the team are.
