2022 Gentle Folk 'Village' Grenache - McLaren Vale, SA. 750ml.
A fortunate combination of love and friendship has brought this Blewitt Springs Grenache into the Village collection for the first time in 2021 and is the first grown outside of the Adelaide Hills GI. Gareth has long had a love of old vine Grenache and has been keen to experiment with a parcel of his own. So when he was offered one from the 81 year old Brini Vineyard in Blewitt Springs - shared by close friends at Ochota Barrels and Jumping Juice - he leapt at the chance. Old bush vines in deep sand with some whole cluster in the ferment, raspberry and redcurrant with pure juicy fruit.
