2023 Koerner 'Mammolo' Sciacarello. Vivian Vineyard-Clare Valley-SA. 750ml
Sciacarello is a red grape native to the tiny island of Corsica, currently part of France. But the island's history is only a stones throw from Italy. It's now believed this variety descended from Sangiovese.
The fruit was hand picked slightly early to maintain freshness in the wine. Natural fermentation, matured in ceramic egg, bottled without filtering or fining and minimal sulphur.
