2021 'la Cuvée du Chat' par Jean-Claude Chanudet, (Gamay), Beaujolais, France. 750ml
Although classified a Beaujolais-Villages, "La Cuvée du Chat" drinks more like a cru from Brouilly. It comes from the granite soils of a tiny parcel bought by Jean-Claude Chanudet and Marie La Pierre from a friend in 2010. 80 year old vines (planted 1945). A bit of carbonic, sits on lees. Really bright and delicious. Minimal adds.
