"It’s one of the most meaty and gamey, savoury merlots going around. If you said Rhone syrah or similar you could be in the same place, sort of. It’s plush, like Aus merlot can be, with dried herbs, shiitake mushroom, sweet earthiness and of course lots of dark and sour plum characters involved. Delicious!
