History and tradition: The Burgundian monks of Cîteaux set up the vineyard in Morgeot around 1150, a place called Chassagne Montrachet, and built the Abbey.
Soil: clay on the bottom of the plot and rocks and limestone on the top, this terroir will allow to produce rich, harmonious and mineral wines.
