2017 Domaine Jean Tardy 'Champerrier' Gevrey-Chambertin, Burgundy, FRANCE. 750ml
From a 60-year-old vineyard (planted ’57) on the north side of Gevrey with very mineral soils, scattered with lots of stones and vine roots reaching deep into the mother rock. 100% destemmed. Cold maceration with whole berries (only about 30% crushed) at 10°C for 7 days to extract colour and best flavours. Fermentation with infrequent plunging until pressing at low pressure.
