The 2020 Syrah is an elegant, fine, vibrant wine. It leads with a primal red grape purity. It is unfettered, alpine fresh and layered with boysenberry, cassis, bramble, green olive tapenade and green peppercorns. In the mouth, it is all silky flow and seamless texture; the wine is supple and light-footed, with matcha, tobacco, blueberry and white peppercorns. What a beauty this is.
